CAV+S confirms its participation as members of the Regional Working Group on Food Waste, led by UNEP.

Its objectives are based on:

- Strengthen governments and other key actors' capacities in food systems, starting with the development of capacities in measurement mechanisms and national strategies to prevent food waste.

- Increase knowledge about food systems (“drivers” and impacts) and relevant policies and initiatives to integrate sustainability across food systems.
